Brad Pitt and girlfriend Ines de Ramon have finally made their red carpet debut together.

Maybe you have read much about Pitt’s romantic connection to De Ramon, the 31-year-old ex-wife of actor Paul Wesley.

The links between she and Troy star Pitt have existed since the as far back as two years ago, but the two had never stepped out in front of the paparazzi press at an event or premiere.

But earlier this week on September 1, when Pitt and de Ramon made their striking red carpet debut in Italy or the Venice International Film Festival. Their outing attracted plenty of attention, with internet users quick to share their opinions.

And there were plenty of individuals who had nice things to say about the Hollywood couple, but there were those who couldn’t help but compare Ines to a certain girlfriend from Brad’s past.

For the event in Venice, Pitt and Ines opted to oppose one another’s looks, with the former dress in a smart black suit and the latter donning a white, one-shoulder bodycon dress.

The couple reportedly have shared several intimate moments at the premiere, and were at one point joined by power couple George and Amal Clooney (George also stars in the aforementioned Wolfs.

As a bonafide A-lister, it should hardly come as a surprise that there’s been a deal of speculation as to his love life since the breakdown of his marriage to Angelina Jolie. Pitt and Jolie, affectionately dubbed ‘Brangelina’ by the mainstream media, were once one of showbiz’s ‘IT’ couples, only for their union to come to a disastrous end.

So there were plenty of people ready to weigh-in on Pitt’s new girlfriend, especially since the duo’s appearance together in Venice marked the first time they’d hit the red carpet together.

And there were many who appeared to approve of Ines de Ramon (not that she or Brad requires the approval of the masses to be happy), but there were inevitably those who had less savory things to say in comparing her with Brad’s exes.

“This young woman is not as pretty as Jennifer Aniston hope he [learned] something after ruining his life with [Maleficent] but [men] usually don’t so good luck to his new [girlfriend] the only good thing is that he is older,” wrote one person on Facebook.

“Jolie is much more attractive,” another wrote.

Though she might not be either Jolie or Anniston (it would be weird if she was), Brad certainly seems happy that she’s entered his life. According to a source that spoke to PEOPLE Magazine, Pitt is “serious” about Ines.

“Brad’s been working in Europe, so they’ve spent a lot of time there. He’s serious about Ines. He’s very happy and enjoys spending time with her. She’s easygoing and everyone likes her,” said the source in question.
