Patrick Dempsey’s three children made their first red-carpet appearance alongside him, and fans can’t get enough of his twin sons.

Sullivan and Darby, who turned 17 this year, are the handsome mini-me’s that the “Se:xiest Man Alive” has with his wife Jillian Fink.

On February 1, 2007, Patrick Dempsey, 58, and Jillian Fink, also 58, formed a family of five when they welcomed fraternal twin sons Sullivan and Darby, Talula’s baby brothers born in 2002.

The Grey’s Anatomy actor admits that he “was a little overwhelmed” when he and Fink discovered they were expecting two more children.

“I think we’re done now,” added the celebrity, who was crowned People’s “Most Sexiest Man Alive” for 2023.

Darby, the more “reserved and quiet” of the two, has a middle name with his renowned father and has stood out from his brother since infancy.

Like ‘drunk little men’

The romantic father remarked that when the infants grew into toddlers, they provided him with amusement.

When they were beginning to walk, he commented, “It’s like a slapstick routine watching these drunk little men run around because they’re wobbly.” It’s quite uplifting to watch something happen that they couldn’t accomplish the day before.

While Talula, 22, is daddy’s little girl, the Can’t Buy Me Love star admits the boys keep him much more busy.

‘Family sport’

The racing fan was thrilled to add a pair of boys to his brood and eager to take them for a spin around the track. Racing, he claims, is “such a family sport.”

“I believe it transports me back to that time in my life as a youngster. I’ve always enjoyed vehicles and racing. My father was a great admirer of it; I used to collect Matchbox cars, and every Friday night, my father would bring me one home,” Dempsey told the Associated Press in 2014. At the time, the professional racing car driver finished fifth in his class at the Le Mans 24-hour event.

“I do not detest acting. There are just some difficulties I’d like to face in my acting career, and I haven’t found any parts that have made it beneficial for me to forego a racing season to do so.”

Family affair

It’s hardly surprising that over 17 years later, the entire family reunited for the first time for the red carpet premiere of Dempsey’s 2023 film Ferrari, in which he plays Italian Formula One racer Piero Taruffi.

Fink wore a beautiful gold gown that hugged her figure, while Dempsey looked handsome in a black suit with a matching tie and gray shirt.

Talulah wore a sleek black outfit and grabbed her father’s arm while the trio posed for photographs.

Darby and Sullivan both wore full black.

Online users were extremely surprised by how huge these boys were. The boys’ parents routinely post charming flashback images of them on their birthdays, and many admirers were surprised that Sullivan and Darby had grown into gorgeous young men.

“Someone inherited dad’s famous hair,” writes one fan of the two teenagers.

“My gosh, they’ve grown (as children do). They seemed so much smaller last time,” writes another while a third adds, “The kids have grown up, time flies that’s for sure.”

Another netizen shares, “I didn’t know he had twins. There are two more of him wow!”
